CeTeau Vibro Stone Columns

In order to be able to offer the full spectrum of soil improvement CeTeau expanded into all types of vibro compaction and replacement with the use of Betterground Vibroflots. With the CeTeau Vibro Replacement method the load bearing capacity will be improved by constructing stone columns in the weak soils. This technique provides an economic and technically sound solution to a wide range of geotechnical and foundation problems.s
Stone Columns have been successfully used on large infrastructure projects like earth dams, highway embankments, airport runways, port facilities and under large industrial structures such as oil tanks and silos. They are a common choice for foundations in liquefiable soils in earthquake prone areas.
Vibroflotation
The vibroflot can also be used for the compaction of granular soils. The method is also known as "Vibroflotation". Natural deposits as well as artificially reclaimed sands can be compacted to a depth of up to 70 m. The intensity of compaction can be varied to meet bearing capacity criteria. Other improvement effects such as reduction of both total and differential settlements are achieved.
