• The new Istanbul airport is planned to be the largest airport in the world, with a 150 million passenger annual capacity. The new airport is constructed at the intersection of junction roads of Arnavutköy, Göktürk and Çatalca, north of European side of Istanbul between the Black Sea regions of Yeniköy and Akpınar. Construction zone is 7,659 hectares region near Lake Terkos.
